Oral Cancer

Cancer that develops in any part of the mouth. Oral cancer also known as mouth cancer.Most oral cancers begin in the flat cells that cover the surfaces of your mouth, tongue, and lips. Tongue Cancer

Tongue Cancer Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common cancer in tongue . Squamous cells are thin, flat cells that line the mouth and other organs.

Cancer of the oral tongue. The front two-thirds of the tongue that you can stick out is called the oral tongue.

Cancer of the base of the tongue. The base is the back one-third of the tongue that extends down the throat.

The treatment for tongue cancer depends on the size of the cancer and whether or not it has spread to the lymph nodes in your neck or to other parts of body.
